About

Yehre Suh

Founder & Principal

Urban Terrains Lab is an architecture and urban design practice based in Brooklyn, New York, working across scales — from single-family residences to large-scale urban masterplans and territorial research.

The practice operates at the intersection of design, research, and public engagement, with a particular focus on the Korean peninsula — investigating border conditions, urban density, and the spatial politics of division and reunification.

Yehre Suh's work has been exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale (2014, 2023), and the practice has been recognized for projects spanning public housing renewal, mixed-use development, and speculative urbanism. Yehre has taught at Cornell University's College of Architecture, Art and Planning, and previously worked with Weiss/Manfredi on landmark projects including the Olympic Sculpture Park and Barnard College Diana Center.
